Big Apple K-Joist® is an I-shaped component that is stronger than conventional C-shaped joists. In many cases Big Apple K-Joist® can be used in place of conventional bar joist, greatly reducing cost and lead times. Big Apple K-Joist® offers a simplified solution compared to traditional bar joist framing.
The Big Apple K-Joist® has an integrated attachment system for an easy labor-saving installation process. The integrated structural angle can be welded, fastened with PAFs or screwed with Tek-5 drill point fasteners. There is no need for special hangers, clips or angles because of the integrated attachment angle.
