STEEL JOISTS

OEG's steel joists are used in a wide range of building projects where heavy loads and long spans need to be accommodated, such as industrial buildings, warehouses, and commercial structures. OEG steel joists are manufactured with structural steel. They support roofing and flooring in commercial buildings. OEG steel joists are engineered and manufactured in accordance with industry standards. OEG can provide design and engineering assistance to help your project reach its most cost-effective potential.

The properties of steel are used with maximum efficiency in the design and fabrication of steel decks, resulting in products with a high strength-to-weight ratio.

K-Series Joists

K-Series Joists typically have depth ranging from 10 inches to 30 inches and span from 10 feet to 60 feet. The web members are typically rod or crimped angle members. Standard seat depth is 2.5 inches.

KCS-Series Joists

KCS-Series joists are K-Series joists with constant shear and moment capacities. These are efficiently utilized when specifying joists supporting concentrated loads with unknown locations. All loads must be considered and accounted for when choosing KCS joist designations.

LH-Series Joists

LH-Series Joists have depth ranging from 18 inches to 48 inches and span from 22 feet to 96 feet. LH-Series joists typically have load bearing capacity greater than K-Series joists. Standard seat depth is 5 inches.

DLH-Series Joists

DLH-Series joists typically have depth ranging from 52 inches to 120 inches and span from 62 feet to 240 feet. DLH-Series joists typically have load bearing capacity greater than LH-Series and K-Series joists. Standard seat depth is 5 to 7 1/2 inches.
